Guzzi parts are highly dependable and easy to work with. It will be simple to get to almost everything you require, and the parts are generally well built, making it difficult to throw away anything you need to work on. I really liked the V7 but one test ride was enough to change my mind on which to get. Reliability has been good so far. The common wisdom seems to be that if you're going to have issues with your Guzzi it will be in the first 5000 kms but I have no personal experience to support that.

The Triumph is a poorly suspended overweight pig. I have one of those. Only redeeming feature is sweet 270 deg. in the Scrambler and easy to work on. Aftermarket is good too.
For me the Guzzi has a more genuine retro character but the Ducati covers more aspects of riding I think. The Guzzi has bigger tank and maybe better behavior on a highway than the Ducati but the Ducati felt more nimble in urban conditions and maybe off road.
